Sites et Paysages Village des Meuniers is in a tranquil setting with panoramic views. The large and welcoming reception building sets the tone for the rest of this superb site. It is set on the gentle slopes of a hilltop that has been tastefully landscaped. There is a feeling of spaciousness throughout with modern and well-kept facilities.
The 76 terraced, grassy touring pitches range from 100 to 250 sq.m. They are fairly level and all have electricity (10A) and ample water points, and 25 also have wastewater outlets. All pitches enjoy stunning views.
The surrounding countryside encompasses the Beaujolais, the Maconnais, the Charollais and the Clunysois. An extensive sunbathing area surrounds the attractively designed swimming pool complex. This is an area well worth visiting, with attractive scenery, interesting history, excellent wines and good food. 29 chalets to rent. An arboretum in the village is worth a visit.
Facilities at Sites et Paysages Village des Meuniers
The heated sanitary facilities, mainly in a central, purpose-designed hexagonal block, with good quality modern fittings. Excellent accessible facilities. Smaller unit (also heated) in the lower area of the site, plus further toilets in the main reception building. Motorhome services. Shop, bar, restaurant and takeaway (all seasonal). Swimming pool complex with three heated pools and toboggan run (seasonal). Play area. Activities for children (high season). 18-hole minigolf. WiFi in bar and reception (free). Rental accommodation includes chalets and lodge tents with their own shower and WC.

Town is 35 km. west of Mâcon. Leave the A6 at exit 29 and follow N79/E62 (Charolles, Paray, Digoin) road and turn south onto D41 to Dompierre-les-Ormes (3 km). Site is clearly signed through village.
