On the edge of the Forêt de la Coubre, just beyond La Palmyre, Bonne Anse Plage is attractively set amongst pines, just a short stroll from a tidal inlet, and just 600 m. from the mouth of the Gironde estuary. This is a spacious, gently undulating site which is now owned by the Siblu group. There are about 800 level, marked pitches, all of which are dedicated to mobile homes. Most are well shaded, the ones nearer the sea less so and are rather sandier. The reception, restaurant and bar with a spacious outdoor terrace and an impressive pool complex form the social focus. The pool complex also features several giant water slides.

A shopping centre which is open all season includes a supermarket, delicatessen and takeaway, a bistro, shops for bread and pastries, holiday goods and papers. There is plenty going on in high season with clubs for children of all ages, including Siblu Soccer tournaments throughout the season. Evening entertainment, including children’s shows, takes place on the bar’s outdoor terrace.

Leave A10 autoroute at Saintes. Head for Royan (N150). In Royan take signs for La Palmyre (D25). At La Palmyre roundabout follow signs for Ronce-les-Bains. Site is 1 km. on left.
