Round Oak Farm is a smaller, CL-style campsite on a working farm that focuses mainly on rare breed sheep and cows. Located in the heart of the Kentish countryside, south of the county town of Maidstone. The grassland farm consists of 180 acres, including 5 acres of a natural oak woodland walk and 9 acres of walking routes open to guests. Dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on a lead at all times.

The site has generously sized touring pitches on the level mowed grass, all with 16 Amp hookups. You can also find two hard-standing pitches located at the back of the campsite near the woodland area. The site has secure-coded access gates and security cameras, and the camping area is gated and fenced away from the main farm buildings.

The yard bar on the main farm site is a unique barn regularly used for functions and entertainment. The campsite has invested in a new sanitary block situated at the back of the yard bar, where you can find two communal showers and two toilets with sinks for washing up.

Guests are welcome to look around the farmyard by arrangement; depending on the time of year, there usually are sheep, lambs, pigs, piglets, cows and calves on-site, as well as chickens, turkeys, and ducks that wander the farm. You can also purchase the farm produce on-site from their animals, including burgers, steaks, and sausages.

Directions to Roundoak Farm Camping

From the M20, follow signs for Leeds Castle, drive through the villages of Leeds and Langley and then turn left onto the Headcorn road towards Sutton Valence. Just before the petrol station, turn left into Heniker lane. Roundoak Farm is a short distance on the left.
