Previously known as 'Autocamp Padova 3' Padova Camping Resort is located on the shore of Padova 3 Bay in Banjol, twenty minutes’ walk from the town of Rab. The 6.5-hectare site has over 500 pitches (16A electricity), either on a flat area near the shore, or on a small, pine-clad hill, which has a remarkable view of the Old Town.

Please note that the pitches on this campsite are very close together, particularly those adjacent to the beach. There is an abundance of services and entertainment facilities, including paragliding, and quad bike and boat rental. If the shade of the pines and olive trees in the campsite does not provide sufficient protection from the summer heat, you could cool down at the adjacent sandy/pebbly beach.

The island of Rab, is a popular tourist destination with an abundance of natural riches: a sunny coast with sandy or rocky beaches, coastal massifs, the cultivated fields inland, and the rich flora and fauna of the forests and sea. Spend your day on a popular beach, or find peace and quiet in a secluded bay. Several times during the summer, the Medieval Games are held in Rab. The main event, the Rapska fjera, is held during the last week in July when almost a thousand people wear Renaissance dress and tradesmen throng the streets and squares.

Directions to Padova Camping Resort

From Salzburg and Karawanken Tunnel into Slovenia, continue on via Ljubljana and Postojna towards Rijeka (Croatia). From Rijeka take Adriatic coast road south (105 km) to ferry port of Jablanac, or over bridge to Krk and from Valbiska harbour by ferry to Lopar on the island of Rab. On the island take 105 south. Site is on right just before Banjol.
