Set on the banks of the Biggesee this site has a pleasant outlook across the water and up to the dam. The area is forested and the views from the pitches on the top half of the site are remarkable. The 30 touring pitches on well kept grass are large enough to take a long unit and all have 10A electricity (Europlug). Water taps are well spaced and not far from any of the pitches. The comfort pitches with full services are for seasonal use only. There is an adventure play area for children and there are opportunities for canoeing and fishing in the adjacent water. This is a lovely site where families and couples can enjoy a relaxing break ‘away from it all’.

The restaurant/bar is located at the top end of the site and run by the owner. It offers super value food in very comfortable surroundings. The toilet blocks have been renovated in the last couple of years and they are clean and well maintained. The site is very relaxing and the staff are helpful and friendly with a little English spoken.

Facilities at Naturcamping Kessenhammer Biggesee

Two toilet blocks, one for the top half of the site and one serving the lower area. Both are heated and spotlessly clean. Shop selling basics (bread, milk etc). Bar/restaurant. Adventure play area. Canoeing. Fishing. Bicycle hire.
