Lido Camping Village is located on the edge of Lake Bolsena, 1.5 km. south of the fascinating town of Bolsena. This landscaped site has a fine pool (with a high additional charge). There are 600 flat, sandy pitches of an average size with 3A electricity. Some have shade. Sadly all the lakeside pitches are occupied by seasonal or tour operator units. An attractive, modern restaurant, bar, pizzeria and terrace are located on the edge of the lake and have wonderful views over the black sand. Some entertainment is provided. There are a disco, entertainment area and cinema on the site and the site’s sporting facilities are of a high standard. Watch for the extra charges here!

This site would be a good place for a break to recharge your batteries as you tour the big cities such as Florence and Rome or to just relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and fascinating history of the region. The area is rich in the history of the ancient Etruscan civilization and major historical sites such as Tarquinia Vulci and Tuscania are close by.

Facilities

Modern facilities include showers (charged). Expect all facilities to be under pressure in high season. Supermarket, bar, restaurant and pizzeria (all open all season). Swimming pools (mid June-Aug; high extra charges). Dance area, cinema and music area. Tennis. Windsurfing and water-skiing. Lake swimming and boat launching. Playground (but dated equipment needs strict supervision). Limited entertainment in high season. WiFi over site (charged). Dogs are not accepted.
