Camping Le Moulin des Jarasses is owned by a young Dutch couple who have created their ideal campsite; small and natural, set in the heart of the Creuse countryside. Chickens and small animals have free range over the campsite in low season. There are just 25 pitches for touring and ten mobile homes to rent. Most pitches have electricity (10A) and are on level grass. Afternoon tea and communal evening meals are available in peak season. A small swimming pool with paddling pool, along with the free loan of bicycles and go-carts, make this a good site for young families. There are no organised events.

The Creuse is sparsely populated with predomoinately small farms (Limousin beef), small villages and open spaces with a rich mixture of restored castles and ancient sites. ‘The Wolves’ animal park is nearby and during the summer months night time visits are available.

One shower block includes showers, open style washbasins and a new family room. Facilities for babies. Laundry facilities. Motorhome services. Small shop with bread to order. Evening meals and afternoon tea in high season. Outdoor heated swimming pool and paddling pool. Basic play room. Bicycle and go-cart hire. Free WiFi on part of site.

Le Moulin des Jarasses is 20 km. to the northeast of Aubusson. From Auzances take D988 towards Aubusson. At Jarasse (2.5 km), turn left and follow signs to site on right.
