Alan Rogers Review
Owned and operated by an English family, this site is an established favourite with British families. It is located in the busy holiday area of the Gulf of Saint Tropez. The site has a large and well-kept pool area and its own adjacent moorings for boats up to 10 meters.
Smaller than many campsites in this area, there are 230 good sized pitches of which 40 are for touring units comprising of 20 Prestige and 20 Majestic pitches. Each of these has its own spacious bathroom with a good shower, washbasin, WC and outdoor kitchen with sink and fridge. All have a hard standing area for a caravan or motorhome plus a synthetic grassed area ensuring green grass throughout the year!
The larger Majestic pitches also have a larger bathroom, with his and her sinks. They also feature an outside dishwasher in the kitchen unit. These are suitable for extra large caravans, motorhomes and Americans up to 12m. On level ground, with variable shade, all Majestic pitches have 16 Amp electricity with the smaller Prestige pitches having 10 Amps. Some noise can be heard from the busy coast road and the D61.
The roads are paved with flattened cobblestones with lighting built into the roadway. The attractive pool is surrounded by ample paved sunbathing areas with some shade from the Palm trees and a roomy dining terrace with heating for cool evenings in low season. Although having all the facilities, activities and entertainment expected of a holiday site, the atmosphere is very relaxed and much less frenzied than at some similar sites.
