Fornella Camping is one of the few campsites on Lake Garda still surrounded by farmed olive trees and retaining a true country atmosphere. Parts of the crisp, clean site have great lake views, others a backdrop of mountains and attractive countryside. The 266 touring pitches are on flat grass, terraced where necessary and most have good shade, all with 6/10A electricity; 101 have water and a drain as well. The remaining pitches are used for mobile homes to rent. The staff speak excellent English and Dutch. A superb lagoon pool complex is here, along with a more traditional pool. These are supplemented by a pleasant bar, and a restaurant with terrace overlooking the lakeside.

The pool complex includes a huge, cloverleaf shaped swimming pool a jacuzzi, water games and a paddling pool, all with lifeguard cover. The second pool is used more for lane swimming. There is an extensive area of grassy pool gardens for sunbathing with a bar/café area. A full entertainment programme runs in high season for both children and adults and there is live music in the evenings. You will find top class facilities for boat owners, including an adjoining marina. There are two separate lake accesses for boats and windsurfers.

Facilities

Three very clean, modern toilet blocks, well dispersed around the site, have mainly British type WCs and hot water in washbasins (some in cabins), showers and sinks. Accessible Facilities. Washing machines, dryer and irons. Dishwashing by EasyBe, Motorhome services. Bar/restaurant. Pizzeria and takeaway. Shop. Supervised heated swimming pools and paddling pool (all season). Tennis. Two playgrounds and entertainment for children in season. Bicycle hire (high season). Beach. Fishing. Small marina, boat launching and repairs. WiFi throughout (charged).

Location

San Felice is on western shore of Lake Garda at the southern end. From A4 Milan-Venice autostrada take Desenzano exit and head north on SS572 towards Salò for 13 km; turn right towards San Felice and follow signs.
