Founded in 1997 this 640,000 square meter site, centred around The Sonnensee, is the largest FKK club owned campsite in Europe.
Three areas of the site are reserved for visitors, some with 6/16 amp electricity, water and wastewater connections. This level grassed terrain has places for a total of 700 pitches which are dotted around the lake's edge where there are some hedge and bush separation. The site has a huge sports field and 17 ha. Lake, used for swimming and boating, has a pathed periphery of 2 km.
In addition to a wealth of sports facilities and ample areas to relax, the site has a lot to offer for all members of the family. With pitches reserved for visitors being in three separate parts of the site, guests are free to choose between pitches closer to the lake and playgrounds or somewhere more peaceful where one can relax in peace and enjoy the view over the lake.
Cars are parked around the edge of the campsite away from the living area so making for a quieter site and safer, especially for children. On such a large site offering so many holiday opportunities it would be easy to spend ones entire holiday here, however the surrounding region has a lot to offer the interested visitor and a planned tour can be most rewarding.
