Alan Rogers Review of FKK Naturist Camping Müllerhof

Müllerhof is an excellent naturist site, very well run, with families in mind, by its owners, the Safron family. Backed by a pine forest, on the southern side of the Keutschacher lake in Carinthia, the gently sloping site of almost six hectares provides 280 touring pitches, all with 6/10A electricity (Europlug) and TV connections. Manicured grass with neat rows of varied, mature trees, light coloured compacted gravel access roads and a security barrier at the entrance indicate that this is a well maintained site. Three grass sunbathing areas (one large, two small), each have direct access to the crystal clear waters of the lake which are edged with flowering lilies and rushes.

Shallow areas in the lake are safe for children with parental observation. Jetties with steps and a handrail allow entry to deeper water which can reach 26 degrees in the height of the summer. One area of the site is deliberately untouched and is home to many species of wild flowers, frogs, butterflies and other creatures.

Facilities at FKK Naturist Camping Müllerhof

Two large, fully equipped toilet blocks are of the highest order and kept very clean. Some private cabins. Washing machines, dryer and ironing facilities. The block at the centre of the site has a really high quality baby room. Sauna and massage. Small shop. Restaurant with waiter service and comprehensive menu, also takeaway (May-Sept). Large play room and well appointed play area. WiFi throughout. Mobile homes and cabins to rent. Dogs are not accepted.

From A2 motorway take exit 335 signed Velden West. Follow signs for Keutschach (or Keutschacher See). 4 km. after village of Schiefling, turn right at signs for FKK Centre. Site is on left in just over 1 km.
