FKK Familiensportgemeinschaft Allgäu is in a quiet and attractive location backing onto woods, this 14 ha. naturist site has 110 grass pitches, all with 16A electricity. The top two rows are for members only, leaving the bottom tier for 40 touring pitches. The terraces lead down to the River Iller (swimming not permitted), beside which is a meadow and sports area. Also here is the Haldenmühle, now a guesthouse with terrace and comfortable traditional restaurant complete with ‘kacheloven’ (tiled stove). The attic of the building provides communal facilities for pre-booked youth groups. The old pond, beside the lower terrace, formally a reservoir for the Mill, is now used for swimming.

Situated in a famous tourist region and with the Allgäu Alps to the south, the site makes an excellent base from which to explore this beautiful region of southern Germany. There are rambling routes which vary in difficulty from those suitable for a quiet family stroll to those in the mountains, with huts where one can take a rest and enjoy a snack and take in the spectacular views.

Site is 12 km. northwest of Kempten (Allgäu). From A7 take exit 132 (Dietmannsried) towards Altsried. At T-junction turn right on ST2377, after 3.5 km. right on OA21. After a further 2,7 km. left into Schmiedstrasse and in 180 m. right into Illerstrasse. After 1,8 km. to the right. Site is a further 900 m.
