On the edge of Limfjord and just a few metres from the sandy beach, this is a friendly, family-run site in the heart of the country in northern Jutland. Set in a rural environment of lush fields and woodland, the natural surroundings are peaceful.

There are 152 pitches, with 90 available for touring, all with electricity and access to shared water points. The site has a range of good-quality accommodations available to rent. The space and range of play areas for children are good, and there are plenty of pedal vehicles that can be freely used by children of all ages. The site boasts the only 30-metre water slide in the area and a terrace with solar-heated swimming and paddling pools.

This is an interesting area of Denmark, with many museums giving insights into times gone by. Cycling and walking routes are available. Boating opportunities abound and there are various larger vessels for day trips on the water. These include guided seal safaris from various locations around the extensive waters of the fjord. Although there can be some bracing winds, the area claims the most sun in Denmark.

Directions to Farsø Fjord Camping

Site is 40 km. north from Viborg on road 533. Closer to campsite there are signs for Løgstør. Site is signed to right off road 533, 4.5 km. after junction with road 187 (which leads to Farsø village).
