This delightful campsite offers spaciously arranged pitches on terraces set amongst lush greenery. All pitches are equipped with 220V/16 A electricity connection and the long-term pitches have access to the community antenna/common aerial. You will also find a drain and service-station for caravans and campervans, as well as well-grounded pitches for campervans. Located in the northern Eifel, Eifel-Camp is situated only a few kilometres away from Blankenheim and close to Lake Freilingen in the countryside. Situated within half an hour coming from the direction of Cologne, from Aachen, Bonn and Koblenz in less than an hour, and driving from Trier will take around 1.5 hours.
The site is a perfect spot for travellers from the south choosing the A1 and taking the country road short-cut, as its a first-class recreational area, with forests, meadows, quiet stream valleys and small peaceful villages. Rare fauna and flora are especially interesting for nature lovers. The Eifel’s geology is diverse and you'll find many interesting rocks, minerals and fossils due to its history, which goes back millions of years. It's also perfect for walking and cycling, and in the close-by villages of Freilingen and Reetz you will find shopping opportunities. Nearby Lake Freilingen offers swimming in the open countryside and the beach is located only a short walking distance away from the site. Annually a triathlon is organised on site. There is a motor sport circuit nearby.
Enjoy the comforts of this award-winning camping-site with facilities including a disabled bathing unit, spacious and superb bathroom/sanitary facilities with centrally heated showers providing free unlimited hot water. You may also book individual bathing units with washbasin, shower and toilet. Washing machines and tumble dryers. The popular "Waldläufer" restaurant with sun terrace. On-site kiosk offering fresh rolls and croissants in the morning, as well as basic necessities. Playground. Leisure club “ Geißbock-Stadel” on the first floor of the sanitary building offering various options for guests, e.g. as a lounge or recreation room, but it can also be used for mini-club activities, the mini-disco, indoor sports activities or cinema shows. An open barbecue facility with a separate fireplace on the outskirts of the campsite, or a small complete BBQ-cabin in the upper part of the “mountain pasture” offering room for up to 24 people. There are also two BBQ-cabins (additional-charge).
