Alan Rogers Review
Dunmore Holiday Park is a new purpose built touring park catering for caravans and motorhomes. It is set in over five acres of meadow surrounded by woodland, overlooking the village and coves of Dunmore East. There are 68 pitches (54 for touring). Twenty-seven are equipped with electricity (16A) and waste water with a shared tap on each pair of pitches. South of the park there are views across the estuary to Hook Head lighthouse, where the River Suir meets the Atlantic Ocean. There are many trails along this spectacular coastline and next to the site is an 18-hole championship golf course.
Waterford Crystal Tourist Centre, The Viking Triangle, Waterford Museum of Treasures and the Copper Coast are all close by. Dunmore East offers a choice of many Blue Flag beaches and coves, over nine restaurants and pubs and a park with all-weather tennis courts and a children’s playground.
