Le Perrier is a small village in the heart of the marshes, characterised by the flat land and vast prairies surrounding it. Le Jardin du Marais is a delightful, family site in a country setting on the edge of the marshes. It is beautifully kept and has excellent facilities including a well stocked shop, a pleasant bar/restaurant and a good pool complex. The enthusiastic and hardworking owners are keen to welcome more British visitors who will be sure of a warm reception. 50 of the 120 pitches are available for touring, with the established ones having some shade, electricity and water nearby and a new area offering large pitches with electricity, water and drainage. The beaches are just seven kilometres away.

For shops, bars and restaurants you can use the nearby village of Le Perrier or head for the resorts of Saint Jean-de-Monts or Saint Hilaire-de-Riez where there are also large supermarkets and frequent markets. Just south of Saint Hilaire is the busy fishing port and resort of Saint Gilles Croix-de-Vie where you can have a drink or a meal on the quayside, wander along the pedestrianised shopping streets or admire the yachts in the thriving marina.

Le Perrier is 51 km. northwest of La Roche-sur-Yon and 11 km. southwest of Challans. Site is 2 km. to south on D59 to Le Pissot and St Gilles; from the new route of the D205 Challans-St Jean-de-Monts road turn south on D59 and site is on right in 300 m.
