High up on the Hunsrück, above the Mosel Valley and with outstanding views, is this family run countryside site. There are 100 level grassy pitches, all fully serviced with water, waste water drain and electricity (16A), arranged on terraces with fine views. Created in 1998, shade from trees is still developing. There are 40 long stay units, but as this site operates for 11 months of the year, with 60 pitches for touring units and a separate tent area, you should be able to find space at most times. Access is via steep, narrow lanes and some hairpin bends.

The site is unsuitable for American RVs and not ideal for double-axle caravans. Also on site is a pleasant bar and restaurant. For children there is an adventure-style playground on grass with a giant slide from upper to lower terrace, a separate toddlers’ play area and a tiny above ground swimming pool (50 cm. deep). A huge games room is located on the first floor of the main building via an external spiral staircase. For that all important barbecue there is a communal grillplatz on the lowest terrace. No English is spoken.

Comfortable modern, heated toilet facilities have controllable showers, some washbasins in cubicles. Baby room. Good accessible suite. Laundry with washing machine and dryer. Motorhome services. Restaurant and bar. Bread to order. Games room. Playgrounds. Freezer for campers use in games room. Riding. Tennis. Winter skiing can be arranged.
