This site is on the edge of the village, about 300 m. from the beach. The sea here can be lively, but at the back of the beach, a calm ria (lagoon) is suitable for younger children and all forms of watersports. The camping area is divided into small enclosures with space for four to six large units each and takes about 150 units in all. They are well-shaded by trees and surrounded by hedges of the most beautiful blue hydrangeas that flower all summer. All pitches have access to electricity (16/25A), with some lighting at night.

The restaurant is accessed through a smart bar and offers a good value menu of the day in addition to a great full menu. The prices in the restaurant and supermarket are very competitive and remain static throughout the season. The very pleasant owner, Señora Soto Lopez, speaks good English and is responsible for the wonderful flowers which decorate the site. Close to the site is the highest hill in Europe, known as Cabo Ortepol, ask about the village at its base, which can only be reached by foot; it is a worthwhile trek. Also, discover the pilgrimage that the locals say should counter Santiago de la Compostela. This rival ends in San Andres, fairly close to the site, is known as the ‘Romaria de San Andres de Teixodo’, and the climax to the celebrations is in July.

Large, fully equipped, centrally positioned toilet block is bright, clean and luxurious, with baby baths and exceptional accessible facilities. Pleasantly decorated with unusual and colourful towers and potted plants. Laundry. Gas supplies. Restaurant offers fresh local food via smart waiter service, bar and takeaway. Ice-cream parlour. Play area. Basketball. Fronton courts.
