Camping Sandaya Domaine de la Dragonnière offers an amazing selection of swimming pools and a wide range of sporting activities and entertainment, which amply makes up for it being set back from the sea. It is a busy holiday village, located between the popular resorts of Vias and Portiragnes, and very well organised.

In total, there are about 750 pitches split into two areas, most occupied by a range of smart mobile homes and chalets, but there are still 55 touring pitches with shade from trees and shrubs. All have electrical connections (10A) as well as water and drainage and a number of individual en-suite sanitary units. La Dragonnière lies 5 km. from the nearest sandy beach, and a free shuttle operates in peak season. This is a wonderful site for families with teenagers and young children, offering something for everyone.

The original pool complex now provides four pools with slides, bikes and even spouting crocodiles! An indoor heated pool is particularly appreciated if taking advantage of low season offers. The half Olympic sized pool with beach area is very impressive. All pools are heated, with lifeguards in attendance. There is lots going on with children’s clubs, sports, excursions and evening entertainment. There is a great deal to visit in the area including the nearby Canal du Midi, the Sigean animal reserve and the cities of Montpellier and Béziers.

Directions to Camping Sandaya Domaine de la Dragonnière

Take the Béziers Est exit from the A9 autoroute. Follow directions to Villeneuve, Sérignan and Valras-Plage. After 800 m. at the large roundabout, follow signs to ‘Vias aéroport’ on the N112. After a further 7 km, the campsite can be found on the right.
