Alan Rogers Review of Camping Naturiste U Furu
The contrast between the busy coastal resorts and the peace and tranquillity of U Furu makes it difficult to believe this site is barely 8 km. from the busy beaches, port and town of Porto Vecchio. This small, 50 pitch site, is set in 30 hectares of rocky, wooded mountain country alongside a river. The pitches vary in size and are arranged on one bank of the river or on terraces above. Long electricity leads are required. The single traditional toilet block is centrally located, as are the pool which is overlooked by the bar and open air restaurant terrace.
A small shop is open in high season. The main attraction of this site is the 6 km. of walks alongside the river leading to rock pools big enough to swim in and to waterfalls. Good shoes are needed for the river walks. Single men are not accepted unless they have a naturist card.
Facilities at Camping Naturiste U Furu
Traditional toilet block with washbasins, hot and cold showers, toilets and a washing machine. Shop, bar and restaurant in high season. Outdoor swimming pool (98 sq.m). Badminton. Tennis. Small play area. River walk and swimming. Torches useful.

Using bypass at Porto-Vecchio, take exit marked Muratello. U Furu is signed from this exit and along the winding minor road to the site.
