Manor Farm continues to be popular with British and Dutch visitors, being located in one of the traditional touring areas of Switzerland. The flat terrain is divided into 230 individual, numbered pitches, which vary considerably, both in size (40-100 sq.m) and price. There is shade in some places. There are 120 pitches with 4/13A electricity, water and drainage, and 55 also have cable TV connections. Reservations can be made, although you should find space, except perhaps in late July/early August when the best places may be taken. Around 40 per cent of the pitches are taken by permanent or letting units and four tour operators.

The site lies outside Interlaken on the northern side of the Thunersee, with most of the site between the road and lake but with one part on the far side of the road. Interlaken is very much a tourist town, but the area is rich in scenery with innumerable mountain excursions and walks available. The lakes and Jungfrau railway are near at hand. Manor Farm is a large campsite, efficiently run and it would suit those looking for an active family holiday. Visitors receive the Interlaken Card which gives free local bus travel.

Seven separate toilet blocks are practical, heated and fully equipped. They include free hot water for baths and showers. Accessible facilities, Twenty private toilet units are to rent. Site is 3 km. west of Interlaken along the road running north of the Thuner See towards Thun. From A8 (bypassing Interlaken) take exit 24 (Interlaken West) and follow signs to Camp no. 1.
