Alan Rogers Review of Camping les Sapins
At the foot of the Pyrenees in the Pays de Sault lies Camping Les Sapins. There are 72 small pitches with 53 for touring (electricity 10A). The view across the valley to the villages of Camurac, Comus and Montaillou is magnificent and the air is exceptionally pure. An ideal base for walkers to discover the area. The campsite is open all year and is situated next to the ski station at Camurac. The friendly Dutch owners, Lia and Jos, are keen to keep the site as close to nature as possible, but while taking into consideration the needs of the campers.
Their interest in jazz/blues music will provide live entertainment during the high season.

Heated sanitary block with accessible facilities, baby bath and family shower room with washbasins in cubicles. Laundry facilities. Shop for essentials. Bar/small restaurant serving snacks. Fresh bread daily. Cheese maker and butcher call weekly. Fresh trout weekly. Fenced swimming pool (15/6-15/9). Play area. Entertainment organised for children in high season. Boules. Bicycle hire. Library with English and Dutch books. WiFi area (free).
