This is an attractive terraced site overlooking the sea on the outskirts of Concarneau. Most of the 105 touring pitches are shaded by mature trees and shrubs. All with 10A electricity (long leads may be required), they are level and well shaded though access to some could prove a little difficult for large units. A traditionally styled bar, restaurant and conservatory opens out onto a terrace with a swimming pool overlooking the Baie de la Forêt. Although the site is terraced with steep steps in places, the main touring pitches are on the top part of the site close to the main facilities.

The site is run by young owners who work very hard and make you feel welcome. An advantage of the site’s position is its close proximity to Concarneau, which is said to be the second largest fishing port in France.

Facilities at Camping les Sables Blancs

One new modern toilet block provides very good facilities including washbasins (some in cubicles) and showers. Facilities for babies and accessible facilities. New laundry facilities. Bar and restaurant (3/4-30/9). Heated outdoor swimming pool (12/4-14/9). Play area. Evening entertainment (July/Aug). Billiards room. Free WiFi in bar.

Directions to Camping les Sables Blancs

Leave the N165 for Concarneau on D70. Site is situated on the northern edge of town on the coast road. Well signed.
