Les Jonquilles is a traditional, family run, lakeside site with a friendly reception and some terrific views of the surrounding countryside and lake. The site has an overall slope (blocks advised), with 228 pitches entirely for touring units and no mobile homes, chalets or rental units. All the pitches are marked, many by very small trees and have access to electricity (6A), but the site is generally quite open. There are a number of special pitches for motorhomes by the lakeside, with a full ‘aire de service’ facility alongside and this area is very popular.

The lakeside has a grassy bank from which you can swim (not supervised), launch non-powered craft or fish, and park seats and lifebelts are provided. On the opposite side of the road is a shop, café, takeaway and bar. This is a good value site in a very scenic location.

Facilities at Camping les Jonquilles

Two traditional buildings, modernised at various times, include some squat toilets, washbasins in cubicles and spacious showers. Baby bath in ladies. Accessible facilities. Washing machines and dryer. Playground. Pétanque. Lake swimming, fishing and canoeing. WiFi on part of site (free).

Directions to Camping les Jonquilles

Xonrupt-Longemer is just to the east of Gérardmer. From centre of town take D67a that runs around the southern side of the lake and site is on left opposite a bar/restaurant.
