Alan Rogers Review of Camping le Mas de Reilhe
This is a pleasant family site in the heart of the Gard region with a favourable climate. There are 92 pitches, 66 for tourers, 60 have electricity (10A), 31 also have water and waste water and some of the upper ones may require long leads. The large lower pitches are separated by tall poplar trees and hedges, close to the main facilities but may experience some road noise. The large terraced pitches on the hillside are scattered under mature pine trees, some with good views, more suited to tents and trailer tents but with their own modern sanitary facilities. The heated swimming pool and spa is in a sunny position and overlooked by an attractive bar/restaurant.
There are no shops in the village, the nearest being in the medieval city of Sommières 10 km. away (and well worth a visit). From here you can explore the Cévennes gorges, enjoy the Mediterranean beaches, visit the Petite Camargue or Nîmes with its Roman remains, and other old Roman cities. In July and August, there are clubs for children (from 4 years), sports competitions and evening entertainment for adults.

Excellent, very clean toilet blocks with accessible facilities. Laundry. Motorhome services. Limited shop (bread to order), bar and restaurant (all season). Takeaway (1/5-14/9). Heated swimming and paddling pools (26/4-26/9). Spa. Multisports area with trampolines, bouncy castle and outdoor fitness equipment. TV room. Trampolines. Fitness area. Pétanque. Bicycle hire. Fridge hire. Only gas or electric barbecues on pitches. Communal barbecue area. Internet access. WiFi over site (charged).
Directions to Camping le Mas de Reilhe
From the A9 take exit 25, Nîmes-ouest signed Alès, then D999 towards Le Vigan (about 23 km). Turn north on the D6110, site shortly on right at southern edge of Crespian. Entrance is on a bend - care needed.
