The owners of one of Ireland’s newest parks, George and Rosaline Drew, are campers themselves and have set about creating an idyllic park in an idyllic location. This three-hectare park is set in one of Ireland’s most picturesque valleys and is open all year. There are beautiful views of the wooded and hilly areas of Slievenamuck and the Galtee Mountains. There are 48 large and level touring pitches, on both hardstanding and grass, each pair sharing a double 10 amp Europlug post and water point. The Drew family is happy to welcome large groups and rallies, and large units can be accommodated. The new stone-built reception and shop beside the gate is a super addition to the site and includes a coffee shop. The excellent facilities are located in a purpose-built toilet block.
The site is a member of the Caravan and Motorhome Club Affiliated Site Scheme but visitors who are not members of the club are also very welcome.
This area is an outdoor paradise with a nearby nature park and forest trails, with a 6 km walk starting at the park entrance, and a popular retreat for adults looking for a relaxing haven. With a local pub just 300 metres away, this is an excellent base from which to tour a variety of attractions such as the Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle, Holycross Abbey and many more.
