An ideal starting point for hiking and cycling with the numerous well-marked routes and trails nearby. In the vicinity, plenty to see such as the historic town of Stein am Rhein, Steckborn, Diessenhofen, old town of Schaffhausen, Munot, Rhine Falls, flower island Mainau, Säntis, Conny-Land amusement park.

Don't miss a boat trip between Konstanz/Kreuzlingen and Schaffhausen which is considered as one of the most beautiful journeys in Europe.

Directions to Camping Huttenberg

The village of Eschenz is located on the main road 13 from Schaffhausen to Kreuzlingen. In the middle of the village of Eschenz, turn into the side street, which is between the "ENI" petrol station and the "Brotlädeli Strasser". N.B. for cyclists: You may have to push your bike on the 500 metres long ascent to the square. N.B. If using sat nav: Coming from Zurich, the sat nav will guide you the last few kilometres over side streets to the campsite. This side street is very narrow and steep. To make your journey easier, take Hauptstrasse 13 (Schaffhausen -> Kreuzlingen) to the campsite. The Hüttenberg campsite cannot be reached directly by public transport. The Eschenz and Stein am Rhein train stations are around 2 km away, which is around a 30 minute walk. The next bus stop is around 1 km away and can be reached on foot in around 15 minutes.
