Camping Groene Eiland is situated in the Land van Maas en Waal and located on an island in the water sports and recreation area of De Gouden Ham, between the Maas villages of Appeltern and Maasbommel. In spring, summer, but also in autumn you can spend a wonderful time here on the waterfront and make use of the many water sports facilities available.

The campsite has a total of 250 touring pitches with 6 Amp electricity connection. Camping Groene Eiland has many facilities spread over the campsite with five sanitary buildings, children's play areas and fishing. Fishing is allowed from the bank, boat or jetty. There are also several fishing piers on the camping site. There is also plenty to see for nature lovers. Peace, space, nature and water. There are also various cycling and walking routes and during the summer months there is an entertainments programme for all ages to enjoy.

Directions to Camping Groene Eiland

From Eindhoven take the A50 north to its junction with A59 at exit fifteen. Now join N329 and continue on this road until you reach the ferry over the Meuse. After the crossing take the second left turn. Take the third left turn off this road onto Lutenkampstraat and the site is on this road. The site is signposted from Appeltern.
