Camping Garden Wahlwies lies in the south of Germany, between fruit orchards and close to Lake Constance. On this small family site, you can savour the peace of the countryside, whilst camping under apple trees. However, tourism around Lake Constance is also close at hand. The pitches are spaciously laid out. As the site is modestly sized, the owners can pay attention to each guest. Fruit farming, which you will often come across in the area, also plays an important role here. The pitches at the front section of the site are located under the apple trees. Further towards the back are more pitches on an open field. Shopping can be done at Netto in Güttingen, or Rewe, Aldi and Lidl in Stockach. You are spoilt for choice when you want to go out for a meal. For instance, in Bodman (6 km) is a restaurant with a view of Lake Constance. Free public transport network with the Bodensee Card. The site has 70 pitches of which 50 are for touring units with 16-amp hook-up point. There is also one chalet available to hire.

Be sure to book in advance as the site is often fully booked. If you want to go to the lake, you could cycle the few kilometres to the lakeshore. There is no shortage of cycle paths and footpaths in the entire area. Excursion tips in the area: the small Mindelsee and the heath caves are largely unknown, but worthwhile natural beauties. Please note, there are many speed cameras in the villages! Be sure to pay attention to speed limits if you don't want a paid holiday photo.

From Stuttgart take the A81 South to the junction 40 and join the A98 to junction 12 Stockach-West. Now follow 'Wahlwies' camping signs.

From Lindau on the A 96 Lindau join the B31 towards Freidrichshafen and Stockach and join the A96 to junction 12 Stockach-West. Now follow 'Wahlwies' camping signs.
