Huttopia Forêt des Vosges is open all year and can be found within the Parc Naturel Régional des Ballons des Vosges, close to the town of Granges-sur-Vologne. Pitches here are terraced and are generally well shaded. A number of pitches can be found on the banks of the little river which runs through the site. There is also direct access to a small lake (canoeing is possible – courses available) with fishing (free to campers). This is a good base for exploring the Vosges, which is, of course, a very popular region for adventure sports. Various activities are organised on site in peak season including occasional discos and sports competitions.

Riding is popular and there is a good equestrian centre (Le Spoix) 2 km. from Gadémont Plage. There are also very many excellent hiking and mountain bike trails and the site’s owners will be pleased to recommend suitable routes. Gadémont Plage is open throughout the winter and this part of the Vosges offers good winter sports facilities, with over 70 km. of prepared ski slopes.

Location

Approaching from Gérardmer, head north on D423 to Granges-sur-Vologne. You will see the site signed to the left 100 m. before reaching the village.
