Camping Florenz has many loyal Italian campers who return year after year. This site is among the sand dunes and pine forest along the seafront where there are good sized, shaded and level touring pitches, ll with 6A electricity. The gently shelving beach has fine sand and lots of chairs and umbrellas. The site is popular with dog owners whose pets are also accepted in the restaurant, and it is also frequented by numerous large school parties. The children’s entertainment is extensive and almost non stop, and there is a good range of activities for adults.

Meals can be enjoyed at the beach bar and restaurants, but evening entertainment keeps the dancing going until late and it may become noisy. There are excursions to Venice and Verona, and plenty of tourist information leaflets.

Five refurbished sanitary blocks with mostly British style toilets and preset showers. Some showers at beach. Good accessible facilities. Motorhome services. Good supermarket. Two restaurants, one air-conditioned plus bar with TV. Large outdoor pool. Activities and children’s club in season. Good play area and games room. Excellent beach for swimming and boat launching. Beach bar and restaurant. Bicycle hire. Sports field. Free WiFi.

Site is at Lido degli Scacchi just off the S309 running between Chioggia and Ravenna. Both Lido degli Scacchi and site are well signed from the S309 (being either Kawan or Florenz).
