This small campsite is delightful, although the pitches are on the small side and the grass is rather sparse. All have 10A electricity. Mature trees provide some shade. A small bar with takeaway food opens on one side onto a terrace and the covered pool. On the other side it is open with seating that looks out over the sea and some of the iconic fishing towers and their nets suspended over the water. In high season, there is a good programme of entertainment for young and old. This site is ideally suited to young families looking to spend a lot of their holiday on the magnificent sandy beach which is only 20 metres from the campsite.

The campsite is only 500 m. from the town of Saint Michel-Chef-Chef and the nearby lively resort of Tharon Plage. There is a sailing school only 500 m. away. For restaurants, bars and shops a visit to nearby Pornic is a must.

Facilities at Camping du Bord de Mer

One central sanitary block includes washbasins in cabins. Accessible sanitary Facilities (although access poor for wheelchairs). Multi-purpose bar and games room with TV and Internet access (July/Aug). Snack bar and takeaway (all season). Covered pool (April-Nov). Solarium. Boules. WiFi in some areas (charged).

Directions to Camping du Bord de Mer

South of St Nazaire bridge on D213, take exit for D77 signed St Michel-Chef-Chef. Follow signs for La Plage and site is on the seafront.
