Camping du Bois de Pleuven is a member of the Tohapi group and can be found within the 17-hectare Pleuven wood, between Quimper and Concarneau. The nearest beaches are a ten minute drive away. Given its wooded location, pitches are large and quite private. The majority are reserved for mobile homes to rent. This is a lively site in peak season with many activities, including a daily children’s miniclub and Breton folk dancing classes. On-site amenities include two swimming pools, one of which is covered, as well as a children’s paddling pool and a water slide.

Concarneau is within easy access and is undeniably worth a visit. The town has two distinct identities: the modern town, which is one of France’s foremost fishing ports, and the medieval Ville Close, a picturesque walled town on an island in the harbour. The Ville Close also houses an interesting fishing museum and is connected to the main town by a drawbridge. One of the annual highlights is the Fête des Filets Bleus, a colourful festival named after the traditional blue nets of the town’s fishing fleet.

Directions to Camping du Bois de Pleuven

Approaching from the south, leave the N165 at the first Quimper exit and head east on D765 (towards Rosporden). Before reaching St Yvi turn right following signs to the site and Bois de Pleuven. The site is clearly signed from here.
