Camping des Ribières is near Confolens in Charente, France, alongside the river Vienne. The site has 126 pitches, of which 117 are for touring units and have a 16-amp hook-up point. Nine safari tents are also available for hire. On-site facilities include a children's playground, perfect for keeping young ones entertained, and a boules court for the older campers. The small shop on site sells crafts and drinks, and in summer, there's a snack bar selling pizza, burgers, ice cream, and other food.

Since Camping des Ribières is located right on the banks of the River Vienne, there are plenty of water activities to get involved in while staying here. The campsite's beach is perfect for those who wish to soak up the sun and go for a swim. The campsite also offers canoe rental directly from the beach, which is a great way to explore the area by water. There are also plenty of fishing opportunities to be had here, so don't forget your fishing rod!

Confolens is a charming town located on the Vienne River. The town centre is pedestrianized, making it a great place to wander around and explore the shops, cafes, and restaurants. The most prominent landmark in Confolens is the Château Vieux, a 12th-century castle that now houses a museum. You can also visit the Église Saint-Barthélémy, a 15th-century church with beautiful stained glass windows.

Directions to Camping des Ribières

From the N141 junction 68 join the D941 towards Etagnac. At a roundabout join the D948 towards Saint-Maurice-des-Lions and Confolens. In Confolens join D952 in the direction of Saint-Germain-de- Confolens. Site is on left off this road after 500 metres.
