Alan Rogers Review of Camping de Flierweide
Camping de Flierweide is a small, spacious site about 300 meters from the beautiful village of Bathmen, on the edge of the Traasterbos. Bathmen is a friendly and cozy village, beautifully located in the middle of the green heart of Salland between the old Hanseatic city of Deventer and the Holterberg nature reserve. The site has 70 pitches 60 of which are for touring units and have a 4/16-amp hook-up point. There are also 4 Trekker huts for hire. The Traasterbos is directly behind the site and consists of more than 30 hectares of forest, where you can enjoy nature and forest walks. If you look south from the site, you will see a wealth of meadows. The very varied landscape also has other attractions to offer, such as country estates and all kinds of characteristic farms.
With plenty of cycling and walking trails, there's always something to discover. Explore the outskirts of Bathmen, passing through the charming hamlets of Dortherhoek, Zuidloo, Loo, and Apenhuizen. For a refreshing dip, visit the heated outdoor pool "De Looërmark" or the subtropical pool "De Scheg," both located just 5 kilometres away.

Directions to Camping de Flierweide
From the E30 A1 leave at junction 25 Bathmen. At the end of the slip road turn left onto Baarhorsterdijk. At the T junction turn right onto Marsdijk. Bear right to remain on Marsdijk. Keep ahead onto Schipbeeksweg and stay on this to a T junction and turn right onto Looweg and shortly left onto Apenhuizerweg. Next bear left onto Traasterdijk. The site is on the right off this road. Follow the site signs (direction Flierweide). The site is beyond the railway line north of Bathmen.
