Camping Biokovo is a new, small, family-run site set peacefully away from the coast at the foot of the eponymous mountain and nature park beside Zagvozd village. It’s ideal for travellers who want to explore the undiscovered part of central Dalmatia; sample the homemade wine and rakija, organic fruits and vegetables. It's also a great location for visiting the historic towns of Dubrovnik and Split, the national parks of Biokovo, Krka and Plitvice and generally immersing yourself in this ancient landscape of real beauty and heritage.
The close proximity to the 60 km long Makarska Riviera, with its crystal clear sea and lovely stretches of beach, plus the imposing mountain, nature park and easy access to major roads, makes this a popular destination. The coastline is simply magnificent. There are 10 pitches with electricity (10A) and internet connections. The village centre is a 10-minute walk and has a shop, restaurant and café.

From the E65 approx. 50 km. southeast of Split take exit 29 Zagvozd/Imotski/D62 for 1.7 km. then straight on at the road 76 for 170 m. to the site.
