Alan Rogers Review
Set among trees and fields in the hills at the eastern end of the Hunsrück, this friendly site is only 15 km. from the Rhine at Oberwesel. Bingen, Boppard and Koblenz are also reached easily via the A61 autobahn. In addition to 250 pitches for permanent caravans, there are 100 touring pitches with electricity connections (6A). Some are in the main part (for longer stays), others are in a more open situation opposite (caravans and tents are mixed together) and space is usually available. On site is an unusual pool for swimming (free of charge) fashioned from a natural basin and fed by springs.
A splendid new building houses reception, a shop and café and there is very good provision for children, including some very popular children’s play equipment and a video room, plus entertainment in July and August.
The central sanitary block, in two sections, is large, heated and of good quality. With a further building for high season, the supply is satisfactory, with some private cabins for ladies in two blocks and for men in one. Gas supplies. Motorhome services. Small shop. Bar. Café (Easter-Oct and holidays). Baker calls daily at 08.30. Outdoor swimming pool. Cable/satellite TV. Youth disco room. Tennis. Large adventure playground. Wagon rides in season. Bicycle hire. Barbecue. Entertainment in high season. WiFi over most of site.
From A61 autobahn take exit for Laudert. Follow signs into Lingerhahn village, between Laudert and Kastellaun. Site is signed in middle of the villageLink to campsite location map on google
