This peaceful campsite is situated on the island of Ré nestled between the beautiful village of Ars en Ré and the Ocean, near cycle paths to discover the rest of the island. Le camp du soleil will be the perfect starting point to explore and enjoy historical sites as the fortifications of Vauban.The nearby Phare des Baleines is a lighthouse offering panoramic views. This site offers a relaxing, family atmosphere for a wholesome and restful holiday, amongst wilderness and nature in a park of 2 hectares, with many fragrant plants. Although a small site, you have plenty choice of pitches, separated by bamboo, trees and hedges. There are static caravans to rent with 2 to 3 rooms, which offer high-end services. There is also a good size pool with a separate paddling pool for young children. All of the facilities you need for an enjoyable camping holiday are present. You will discover beautiful landscapes, monuments, heritage, local products, marinas, a bird reserve, bike rides in the salt marshes from the local cycle paths and the leisurely environment. A wide choice of activities can be found in the nearby surrounding such as mini-golf, tennis and golf. Beach, village and supermarket are in walking distance.

The Camping offers a heated outdoor swimming pool (01/05 – 30/09) and heated sanitary facilities accessible for people with reduced mobility, restaurant, shop, bicycle rental, TV room with CANAL , free WIFI throughout, reception room, camper service and canine-shower. The site is equipped with picnic tables, lounging chairs. You will find refrigerators, bicycles, microwaves, coffeemakers for you to use on the site.

Directions to Camp Du Soleil

From La Rochelle, head in the direction of ile de ré. You will see a bell tower at the entrance of the village of Ars en Ré and the campsite is on your left.
