Callander Woods Holiday Park is situated within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, just a mile from the centre of Callander. Surrounded by mature trees, this attractive, family run park is peaceful and spacious. All is kept in a pristine condition and a very warm welcome awaits on arrival with a superb information pack given to all. The 128 all grass touring pitches are reasonably level, open plan and marked, with 16A electricity, water and drain. Tents and pup tents are not accepted, groundsheets are not permitted. Privately owned caravan holiday homes are located away from the touring section near the river which runs for 200 yards along the park boundary.

This is an area steeped in history with possible excursions including the Rob Roy Visitor Centre, the medieval Castle of Doune, or a sail on the steamship Sir Walter Scott on Loch Katrine. For the more active there are recommended local walks or fishing in the park’s private stretch of river. There is some road noise during daytime.

Modern heated central facilities are immaculate, kept spotlessly clean with toilets and showers, plus extra areas with showers, baby changing and hair washing basins. Separate accessible facilities. Fully equipped laundry. Drive-over motorhome service point. Gas sales. Large adventure play area, partly undercover. Separate field for ball games. Free fishing (not Sundays). Dog-Friendly site.

Directions to Callander Woods Holiday Park

From the south take M9. Near Stirling, leave at exit 10 and follow A84 through Doune. Park is on the left, 1 mile before Callander town centre.
