Just 15 km southeast of Bergen, Bratland Camping offers a quiet, well-managed site in a wooded valley beside a small lake. It is an excellent base for visiting the city while enjoying a peaceful, natural setting. On site there are 120 touring pitches with 16A electric hook-up connections available. Pitches vary in size and are mostly level and grassy, with some hardstanding options available. 

Facilities on site include a shared camper's kitchen with cooking facilities and sinks, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. There is a communal TV room providing a space for relaxation, especially useful during poor weather, and is an ideal area for socialising with other campers. During high season, the campsite provides fresh bread daily as well as a small shop offering basic supplies. There is also a dedicated covered BBQ area, which is perfect for cooking alfresco during the warmer months.  A children's playground with a climbing wall and trampoline can be found on site for the younger campers to enjoy and burn off some energy. The campsites' lakeside location opens up various water activities for guests, including fishing, swimming, and boat hire. 

There is a significant draw for outdoor enthusiasts here as there is a hiking trail that starts right at the campsite to one of Bergen's famous mountains (Ulriken) which offers stunning panoramic views of the city and the surrounding fjords. The marked nature of the trail is accessible to a range of fitness levels, though the ascent to the top can be challenging.   

There is a bus stop close to the campsite, providing easy access to Bergen’s historic harbour, markets, and museums.
