Whether you are coming, going or staying, you should try this neat, tidy and attractive six-acre park, owned by The Caravan and Motorhome Club. It is situated amidst farming country in the village of Densole on the Downs, just four miles north of Folkestone, eight west of Dover and eleven south of Canterbury. Accessed directly from the A260, the tarmac entrance road leads past reception towards the top field which has gravel hardstanding pitches with a grass area for awnings (there is some road noise from the A260), past hedging to the smaller middle area, then to the large bottom field which has been redeveloped to give some larger pitches (including 15 for tents) and some to accommodate larger motorhomes. There are 119 pitches in total, 95 with hardstanding, all with 16 amp electricity and 10 fully serviced.

A late arrivals area and pitches for those only staying one night are provided. Opposite the entrance is a general store and newsagent and, within 100 metres, a pub. The location of the park makes it ideal for an overnight stop travelling to or from the continent via the Channel Ports or the Tunnel, or as a base for visiting the many attractions of this part of southeast England. If taking a ferry/Eurotunnel, contact site to book one of the dedicated ferry pitches.

Facilities

Two sanitary blocks, one below reception and the other at the far end of the site, have washbasins in private cabins with curtains, good sized shower compartments, a baby room and accessible sanitary facilities, laundry and dishwashing facilities, all very well heated in cool weather. Motorhome service points. Chemical toilet point. Gas supplies. Play area. A fish and chip van calls on Thursdays (April-Sept). Caravan & Motorhome storage. Wi-Fi throughout (charged).TV reception good. Dog walk. BBQ's allowed, gas,electric and charcoal. Tents allowed. Bus stop 90 metres. Train station 4 miles. Tesco 1.25 miles. Location

Leave M20 immediately past the end of the Tunnel at Junction 13a. Turn off via slip road and roundabout onto A260 (signed Densole and Canterbury A2) into Densole. Site entrance on left 270 metres past Black Horse Farm Public House. Please note that Black Horse Farm is directly on Canterbury Road. Do not follow the brown and white signs pointing to a left-hand junction (when coming from Folkestone direction), as these lead to another site.
