Bären-Camp is on a bend of the Moselle River. Here, you have views of steep hillsides covered with vineyards. The site is situated right next to the town of Bullay. You will find eating establishments and a supermarket within walking distance. From your pitch you can watch the excursion boats and river boats slowly pass by. Along the Moselle River lie countless historical towns with age-old timbered houses. The pitches are divided among five different fields. The reception is housed in a small wooden cabin on wheels situated at the front of the site. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor terrace, where you can dine with views of the river. There are only a few trees so most of the pitches are situated in the full sun. A cycling path separates the site from the Moselle River. You can swim in the river here. It is also possible to launch your own boat. It is a short walk to the village and ferry to Alf. Convenient for exploring the middle Moselle by car, bike or train. The site has 145 grass touring pitches with 16-amp hook-up point, 14 seasonal pitches and 2 log cabins available to hire.

There are two heated toilet blocks with showers (charged), washbasins and wc’s. Baby room. Chemical toilet point. Dishwashing area. Laundry with washing machine and dryer. Motorhome service point. Bread to order. Small shop. Restaurant. Takeaway. Freezer for ice packs. Jetty. Table tennis. Multi-sport pitch. Dogs and BBQ’s allowed.

Location

From the Autobahn A1 take exit 125 Wittlich. Follow the main road B49 to Alf, cross the Moselle bridge to Bullay. Turn left and drive under the railway bridge and follow the road. At the village square turn into Fährstrasse, drive across the Moselle car park past the football ground.

From the Autobahn A61 take exit Rheinböllen/Simmern (Airport Hahn) and take the B50, turn right at Kirchberg direction Zell/Mosel onto the B421. In Zell follow the B53 to Cochem and in Bullay cross over the Moselle bridge then as above.
