First Camp Åhus – Kristianstad
First Camp Åhus – Kristianstad is in the Skåne province on the South Baltic coast, set in a natural environment amongst mature pine trees which provide shade to all pitches. There are 420 large, level pitches on grass and hardstanding, 220 of which are for touring. They are informally laid out and have 10A electricity connections. A large, white sandy beach is only 500 m. from the campsite and the fishing village of Åhus, with its castle, museum and many festivals, can easily be reached by bike or on foot. A wellness centre near the beach offers the usual spa facilities plus an adjoining restaurant.
First Camp Gränna
This large lakeside site, with modern facilities and a busy continental feel, is set below the old city of Gränna. Flat fields separate Gränna from the shore, one of which is occupied by the 25 acres of Grännastrandens where there are 450 numbered pitches including a tent area and some seasonal pitches. About 265 pitches have electricity (10/16A). The site is flat, spacious and very regularly laid out on open ground with only a row of poplars by the lake to provide shelter, so a windbreak may prove useful against any onshore breeze. Part of the lake is walled off to form an attractive swimming area with sandy beaches, slides and islands.
Långasjönäs Camping & Stugby
Långasjönäs Camping & Stugby is in the Blekinge region, known for its largest number of sunshine hours in Sweden, in the heart of the nature reserve of the same name. The site has 213 pitches, of which 115 are for touring units and have a 10-amp hook-up point. There are 74 accommodation units available for hire. You can choose between a pitch in the sun or the shade; they are all spacious and beautifully laid out. 
Naturcamping Lagom
Naturcamping Lagom is located in the middle of a pine forest opposite a lake in the heart of Sweden's Gräsmark. The towns of Gräsmark (12 km) and Torsby (28 km) are also nearby. On-site, there are 90 pitches, 60 numbered and for touring pitches with 10-Amp electric hook-up points available. Unique accommodations, such as a tipi, a Finnish kota and various stugas, are available to rent. 
First Camp Råå Vallar-Helsingborg
Situated just a short distance from the vibrant city of Helsingborg, First Camp Råå Vallar offers the perfect blend of tranquil nature and urban convenience. Located along the shores of the Öresund Strait, you’ll find panoramic views across to Denmark and direct access to a beach. First Camp Råå Vallar is well-equipped, offering a variety of accommodation options ranging from spacious tent pitches to modern cabins and glamping units. The campsite’s spacious layout allows visitors to feel a sense of privacy while still enjoying a community atmosphere. During the peak summer months, the site is bustling with activity, yet it never loses its calm, coastal charm.
Stockholm SweCamp Flottsbro
Stockholm SweCamp Flottsbro is located at the south entrance to Stockholm, just 20 minutes from Stockholm city centre. The site offers 58 large numbered pitches for touring, arranged on level terraces; all have electricity (10A) and 53 also have TV connections. The site itself slopes down to Lake Alby and there is a good restaurant at the bottom. Flottsbro is within a large recreation area with hiking and mountain bike trails, beaches and other activities during the summer and downhill and cross-country skiing during the winter. The ski lift is next to the site and guests are entitled to a discounted lift pass and equipment hire.
Spilhammars Camping
Spilhammers Camping is located on the border of Jönköpinglan and Kalmarlan, about 350 km from Malmö. Situated in the forest at two small lakes with a child-friendly beach. You will find a swimming raft with a diving board at one of the lakes.
Hökensås Camping
Hökensås is located just west of Lake Vättern and south of Tidaholm, in a beautiful nature reserve of wild, unspoiled scenery. This pleasant campsite is part of a holiday complex that includes wooden cabins to rent. It is relaxed and informal, with some 145 touring pitches either under trees or on a more open area at the far end, divided into rows by wooden rails. These are numbered and electricity (16A) is available on 135. Tents can go on the large grassy open areas by reception. This site is a find for people who enjoy outdoor activities.
Skantzö Bad & Camping
A very comfortable and pleasant municipal site just off the main E18 motorway from Oslo to Stockholm, this has 229 large, numbered pitches, all with electricity (10A). The terrain is slightly sloping and grassy, there is good shade in parts and the site is well fenced. Divided into three main areas, one is used for seasonal units, the other two for touring units. The main touring section has its own play area for children and is close to the pool complex and other facilities. The other section is quieter but there is likely to be some daytime traffic noise as it is next to the road. There is an attractive area set amongst a few trees especially for tents plus 23 alpine-style cabins to rent. The outdoor swimming pool complex is one of the main attractions here with its laned 50-metre pool, spring and diving boards and slides into a separate pool. There is direct access to the towpath of the Strömsholms Kanal and nearby is the Kanal Museum.
First Camp Båstad-Torekov
Part of the First Camp chain, this site is 500 m. from the fishing village of Torekov, 14 km. west of the home of the Swedish tennis WCT Open at Båstad, on the stretch of coastline between Malmö and Göteborg. Useful en route from the most southerly ports, it is a well situated site and worthy of a longer stay for relaxation. It has 535 large pitches (390 for touring units), all numbered and marked, mainly in attractive natural woodland, with some on more open ground close to the shore. Of these, 300 have electricity (10A) and cable TV, 77 also having water and drainage.
First Camp Ekudden
First Camp Ekudden Camping occupies a long stretch of the eastern shore of Lake Vanern, to the northwest of the town, in a mixed woodland setting, and next door to the municipal complex of heated outdoor pools and sauna. The lake, of course, is also available for swimming and boating, and there are bicycles, tandems and canoes for hire at the tourist information office in town. Using the site as a base, you can visit the nearby Old Town of Mariestad, take a trip on a passenger boat out on Lake Vänern or visit the Göta Canal with its locks at Sjötorp. During the high season, the site can become very busy.
Västervik Resort
One of the largest sites in Scandinavia, Västervik Resort has unrivalled views of the 'Pearl of the East Coast’ – Västervik and its fjords and islands. There are around 1,000 large, mostly marked and numbered pitches, spread over a vast area of the rocky promontory and set on different plateaux, terraces, valleys and woodland or beside the water. It is a very attractive site that never looks or feels crowded, even when busy.
Oknö Mönsterås
Camping Oknö lies between the Swedish mainland and the island of Öland on an archipelago approximately 5 km. from the town of Mönsterås. A single road leads to the site, which is surrounded by coves, forest trails and meadows. The campsite and nearby beaches are sheltered from the winds and waves, making the area well suited for boating, fishing and bathing. There are 155 slightly sloping, patchy grass pitches, randomly arranged with 93 for touring, all with electricity (10-16A), some with their own sanitary facility and all with varying amounts of shade from tall trees. Some have good views over the coastal area.
Camping Hallmare Havsbad
Hallmare Havsbad Camping is located on the east coast north of Västervik and close to the coastal village of Loftahammar, Kalmar. The terraced site has 280 grass/hardstanding pitches of which 196 are for touring units and have 10-amp hook-up points. 80 are occupied on a seasonal basis, and there are also 7 log cabins available to hire. All pitches are close to the beach, and many have a sea view. If you arrive with your caravan, motorhome or tent, the staff will be happy to help you find a suitable pitch to meet your needs.
Camping Lidköping
KronoCamping Lidköping is located on the shores of Lake Vänern, just a 15-minute walk from the centre of Lidköping. This high-quality, attractive site provides 410 touring pitches on flat, well-kept grass plus 53 excellent hardstanding pitches for motorhomes. All the pitches have electricity (10A/16A) and TV connections, and many are fully serviced. There are 30 cabins to rent and 125 seasonal units. It is surrounded by some mature trees, with the lake shore as one boundary and some tall pines providing shade and shelter.
Johannesvik Camping & Stugby
Johannesvik Camping & Stugby is an all-year fjord site in the Vastra-Gotaland region. Enjoy its private beach with a secure swimming area perfect for little ones. Breathtaking views and opportunities for swimming and walking make this campsite a must-visit destination. As you wind your way up the scenic road, glimpse the remnants of the former farmhouse before arriving at the reception. Beyond the reception, marvel at an enormous rock formation leading to the campsite's far end, overlooking the fjord and its inviting beach. The site has 660 grass pitches, of which 410 are for touring units and have 10-amp hook-up points. 46 accommodation options are available to hire. 
Haverdals Camping
Haverdals Camping is a family site close to the beach, 15 km north of Halmstad in Halland, along the beautiful coast road to Falkenberg. It is just one hour away from both Gothenburg and Malmö. The site has 66 grass pitches, of which 22 are for touring units and have 16/10amp hook-up points. 14 accommodation options are available to hire.  
First Camp Kolmården
This is a family site, located on Bråviken Bay on the Baltic coast 160 km. south of Stockholm. Open all year, the site is just four kilometres from Kolmården Wildlife Park, one of Sweden’s most popular family attractions. There are 322 pitches, of which 179 have electrical connections (10A), water and drainage. Some pitches have sea views and there is also a large beautiful wooded area for tents and 40 cottages to rent. A recent feature on site is a high level adventure ropeway in the trees. Adjacent to the site is a handicraft village and the Sjöstugans restaurant. With direct access to Bråviken Bay, it is possible to swim on site and there is a shallow, child friendly area with a small beach. Fishing, notably for Baltic herring, is also popular.
Glyttinge Camping
Glyttinge Camping is situated in a wooded area on the outskirts of Linköping and only five minutes by car from the IKEA shopping mall. It is a site with varied terrain – some flat, some sloping and some woodland. It has enthusiastic and friendly management, is maintained to a good standard, and trees and shrubs throughout create a cosy, garden-like atmosphere. There are 109 pitches of varying sizes, some are very large, all with 10/16A electricity. A number of unmarked pitches are provided for tents and 30 chalets are available for hire. Children are well catered for – the manager has laid out a fenced and very safe children’s play area. The site is also a good stopover place halfway between Kolmården and Astrid Lindgren’s World.
Camping Böda Sand
Camping Böda Sand is beautifully situated at the northern end of the island of Öland and is one of Sweden’s largest and most modern campsites. Most of the 1,350 pitches have electricity (10/16A) and TV connections, 1,100 have water and wastewater drainage.

South

The south of Sweden is dominated by two great lakes, Vänern and Vättern, Europe’s second and third largest lakes. There are also many fine beaches with picturesque harbours and historic ports such as Gothenburg, Helsingborg and Malmö. Stockholm, the capital, is a delightful place built on fourteen small islands on the eastern coast. It is an attractive, vibrant city, with magnificent architecture, fine museums and historic squares.
