Långasjönäs Camping & Stugby
Långasjönäs Camping & Stugby is in the Blekinge region, known for its largest number of sunshine hours in Sweden, in the heart of the nature reserve of the same name. The site has 213 pitches, of which 115 are for touring units and have a 10-amp hook-up point. There are 74 accommodation units available for hire. You can choose between a pitch in the sun or the shade; they are all spacious and beautifully laid out. 
Naturcamping Lagom
Naturcamping Lagom is located in the middle of a pine forest opposite a lake in the heart of Sweden's Gräsmark. The towns of Gräsmark (12 km) and Torsby (28 km) are also nearby. On-site, there are 90 pitches, 60 numbered and for touring pitches with 10-Amp electric hook-up points available. Unique accommodations, such as a tipi, a Finnish kota and various stugas, are available to rent. 
Glyttinge Camping
Glyttinge Camping is situated in a wooded area on the outskirts of Linköping and only five minutes by car from the IKEA shopping mall. It is a site with varied terrain – some flat, some sloping and some woodland. It has enthusiastic and friendly management, is maintained to a good standard, and trees and shrubs throughout create a cosy, garden-like atmosphere. There are 109 pitches of varying sizes, some are very large, all with 10/16A electricity. A number of unmarked pitches are provided for tents and 30 chalets are available for hire. Children are well catered for – the manager has laid out a fenced and very safe children’s play area. The site is also a good stopover place halfway between Kolmården and Astrid Lindgren’s World.
Oknö Mönsterås
Camping Oknö lies between the Swedish mainland and the island of Öland on an archipelago approximately 5 km. from the town of Mönsterås. A single road leads to the site, which is surrounded by coves, forest trails and meadows. The campsite and nearby beaches are sheltered from the winds and waves, making the area well suited for boating, fishing and bathing. There are 155 slightly sloping, patchy grass pitches, randomly arranged with 93 for touring, all with electricity (10-16A), some with their own sanitary facility and all with varying amounts of shade from tall trees. Some have good views over the coastal area.
Årjäng Camping & Stugor
Sommarvik Camping (also known as Årjäng Camping & Stugor) is in beautiful surroundings with some of the 350 pitches overlooking the clear waters of the Västra Silen lake in peaceful countryside. The 350 numbered pitches are arranged in terraces on a hillside interspersed with pines and birches, with 200 set aside for touring, all with 10A electricity hook-ups; 40 also include water and drainage.
Camping Tiveden
On the shore of Lake Unden, near Tiveden National Park, this friendly, Dutch-owned, family run campsite is in central Sweden and lies halfway between Gothenburg and Helsinki; the major lakes of Vanern and Vättern and numerous smaller lakes are within easy reach. There are three fields with 75 grass pitches, most with 10A electrical connections and offering a choice of full, partial or no shade. There are also nine gravel pitches for motorhomes and two tent pitches by the lakeside, but shielded from the wind by trees with the lake clearly visible between the trunks. There are various walking and cycling trails from the campsite.
Seläter Camping
Seläter Camping is on the west coast of Sweden, close to Norway. It is a serene retreat for nature enthusiasts and beach lovers alike. Located near the Norwegian border, this quiet campsite boasts a picturesque setting and easy access to the popular Capri Beach. While the beach attracts steady visitors, it rarely becomes overcrowded.  The site has 413 grass pitches, of which 337 are for touring units and have a 10-amp hook-up point. 74 five lodge tents, trekker huts, bungalows and chalets are available to hire. The pitches are spacious and located on level fields with grass. The layout has a typical Swedish appearance with lots of trees. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by a friendly staff at the reception, where you can also find the mini golf course.
Grännastrandens Familjecamping
This large lakeside site, with modern facilities and a busy continental feel, is set below the old city of Gränna. Flat fields separate Gränna from the shore, one of which is occupied by the 25 acres of Grännastrandens where there are 450 numbered pitches including a tent area and some seasonal pitches. About 265 pitches have electricity (10/16A). The site is flat, spacious and very regularly laid out on open ground with only a row of poplars by the lake to provide shelter, so a windbreak may prove useful against any onshore breeze. Part of the lake is walled off to form an attractive swimming area with sandy beaches, slides and islands.
Tingsryds Camping
A pleasant, well-managed site in a prime location by Lake Tiken, Tingsryds Camping is well placed for Sweden’s Glass District. The 190 large pitches are arranged in rows divided by trees and shrubs, with some along the edge of a lakeside path (public have access). All have 16A electricity and there is shade in parts. The facilities are housed in buildings near the site entrance, with the reception building having the restaurant (with lake views), café, bar and a shop. Adjacent to the site is a small beach, grassy relaxation area, playground and lake swimming area. Daily trips to town by horse-drawn carriage are available. A cycle path passes the entrance and will form part of the ‘Sydostleden’, a 270-kilometre route which opened in 2016. Two large supermarkets, a heated indoor ‘Waterworld’, bowling alley, and further shops and restaurants are in the town (1 km) which can be reached via a level footpath/cycle track directly from the site.
Daftö Resort
This extremely high quality, family campsite, with a strong pirate theme, is beautifully situated on the west coast, 5 km. south of Strömstad. A very large site, terraced in parts, has both shady and open areas. In total there are 650 pitches with around 300 for touring, all with electrical hook-ups (10A, CEE plugs). In addition, there are 130 modern, very well equipped cabins of various sizes and styles. Daftö Resort, with its DaftöLand adventure park (concessions for campers), has activities for all including boating, beach volleyball, walks and yoga, and all manner of theme-based activities for children including theatre, competitions and treasure hunting.
Vita Sannars Camping
Located on the shores of Sweden's largest lake, Vänern, Ita Sandars Camping offers a serene escape near the picturesque village of Mellerud in Dalsland. Known as "Little Sweden," this region showcases the country's diverse landscapes and attractions. Choose from 310 grassy pitches, including 210 touring pitches with 10-amp hook-ups and 40 cosy mobile homes or log cabins.
Alevi Camping
Alevi Camping is a small, welcoming site with 60 large, level and very well kept pitches for touring, all with 4/10A electricity and ten cabins for hire. Open all year, the site is situated on the bank of the River Klarälven, the longest river in Sweden. This is a perfect place for swimming, fishing, canoeing and rafting. Further up the river, at Sysslebäck, you can build your own log raft for a slow journey down the river. The rafts are fully equipped with a tent and whatever you need for a few days on the water. The site owners are happy to help you find the perfect activity for a pleasant stay. This quiet site will suit those looking for peace in a natural environment but with activities should you wish to take part. Activities in high season include evening nature walks followed by a barbecue. The county of Värmland is famous for its lakes, rivers and forests. There, if you are lucky, you can see the ‘big four’ predators of Scandinavia – wolf, bear, wolverine and lynx.
Västervik Resort
One of the largest sites in Scandinavia, Västervik Resort has unrivalled views of the 'Pearl of the East Coast’ – Västervik and its fjords and islands. There are around 1,000 large, mostly marked and numbered pitches, spread over a vast area of the rocky promontory and set on different plateaux, terraces, valleys and woodland or beside the water. It is a very attractive site that never looks or feels crowded, even when busy.
Ljusdals Camping
Ljusdals Camping is located on the shores of Växnan Lake in Gavleborg and offers a tranquil escape for families seeking a harmonious blend of nature and comfort. Woodlands surround this charming campsite and provide easy access to scenic hiking trails, making it a perfect destination for outdoor enthusiasts. There are 95 pitches on site, of which 52 are equipped with electric hook-up points; you'll find the ideal spot to relax and unwind.
Frykenbadens Camping
Frykenbadens Camping is a well cared for campsite in a quiet wooded area on the southern shore of Lake Fryken, taking around 180 units on grassy meadows surrounded by trees. One area nearer the lake is gently sloping, the other is flat with numbered pitches arranged in rows, 150 with electricity (10A) and 11 with hardstanding.
Destination Apelviken
Destination Apelviken is an all-year site in the Hallands Län region on the northern side of a long bay, right by the beach, and still only 1.5 km south of the town centre.  The site has 500 grass pitches of which 308 are for touring units, have 10-amp hook-up points, and have 82 rental accommodations available to hire.
Spilhammars Camping
Spilhammers Camping is located on the border of Jönköpinglan and Kalmarlan, about 350 km from Malmö. Situated in the forest at two small lakes with a child-friendly beach. You will find a swimming raft with a diving board at one of the lakes.
Camping Saxnäs
Well placed for touring Sweden's Riviera and the fascinating and beautiful island of Öland, this large, family-run site, part of the Krono group, has 540 marked and numbered pitches, of which around 400 are for touring. Arranged in rows on open, well-kept grassland dotted with a few trees, all have electricity (10/16A), and 112 also have water. An unmarked area without electricity can accommodate around 60 tents. The site has about 140 long-stay units and cabins to rent.
Camping Böda Sand
Camping Böda Sand is beautifully situated at the northern end of the island of Öland and is one of Sweden’s largest and most modern campsites. Most of the 1,350 pitches have electricity (10/16A) and TV connections, 1,100 have water and wastewater drainage.
Camping Lidköping
KronoCamping Lidköping is located on the shores of Lake Vänern, just a 15-minute walk from the centre of Lidköping. This high-quality, attractive site provides 410 touring pitches on flat, well-kept grass plus 53 excellent hardstanding pitches for motorhomes. All the pitches have electricity (10A/16A) and TV connections, and many are fully serviced. There are 30 cabins to rent and 125 seasonal units. It is surrounded by some mature trees, with the lake shore as one boundary and some tall pines providing shade and shelter.

South

The south of Sweden is dominated by two great lakes, Vänern and Vättern, Europe’s second and third largest lakes. There are also many fine beaches with picturesque harbours and historic ports such as Gothenburg, Helsingborg and Malmö. Stockholm, the capital, is a delightful place built on fourteen small islands on the eastern coast. It is an attractive, vibrant city, with magnificent architecture, fine museums and historic squares.
