One of the largest sites in Scandinavia, Västervik Resort has unrivalled views of the 'Pearl of the East Coast’ – Västervik and its fjords and islands. There are around 1,000 large, mostly marked and numbered pitches, spread over a vast area of the rocky promontory and set on different plateaux, terraces, valleys and woodland or beside the water. It is a very attractive site that never looks or feels crowded, even when busy.

There are 143 fully serviced pitches with TV, water, drainage and electrical connections, 87 with TV and electricity and 490 with electricity only, the remainder for tents. Shade is generally plentiful. This is an ‘all singing, all dancing’ site with something to suit all tastes and ages.

Reception is smart, efficient and friendly with good English spoken. An hourly bus service to Västervik runs from the site entrance from June to August. On-site facilities include a full golf course, minigolf, heated outdoor pool complex with water slide and poolside café, sauna and solarium, playgrounds, boat hire, tennis, basketball, volleyball and fishing. For children, Astrid Lindgren’s World theme park at Vimmerby is an easy day trip away and for adults the delights of the old town of Västervik and its shopping. Previously known as Lysingsbadet Camping.

Ten modern toilet blocks house a comprehensive mix of showers, washbasins and WCs. Accessible facilities, All are kept very clean. Several kitchens with sinks and cookers. Four laundry rooms. All facilities and hot water are free. Key cards operate the barriers and gain access to sanitary blocks, pool complex and other facilities. Motorhome services. Supermarket (High season).
