Glyttinge Camping is situated in a wooded area on the outskirts of Linköping and only five minutes by car from the IKEA shopping mall. It is a site with varied terrain – some flat, some sloping and some woodland. It has enthusiastic and friendly management, is maintained to a good standard, and trees and shrubs throughout create a cosy, garden-like atmosphere. There are 109 pitches of varying sizes, some are very large, all with 10/16A electricity. A number of unmarked pitches are provided for tents and 30 chalets are available for hire. Children are well catered for – the manager has laid out a fenced and very safe children’s play area. The site is also a good stopover place halfway between Kolmården and Astrid Lindgren’s World.

A main attraction nearby is the Aviation Museum. Linköping is renowned for its association with aircraft, with many Swedish planes being developed here by the Saab Group. Other places of interest include the old town of Gamla Linköping and the Läns-Museum. Also ask at reception about trips on the Göta Canal.

Facilities at Glyttinge Camping

The main, central toilet block with key access (supplemented by additional smaller facilities at reception) is well equipped and maintained. It has showers in cubicles, washbasins and WC suites and hand dryers. Separate accessible facilities. Baby rooms. Laundry. Kitchen and dining/TV room, fully equipped. Motorhome services. Small shop (20/6-31/8). Playground. Minigolf. Badminton. WiFi (charged).

Exit E4 Helsingborg-Stockholm motorway north of Linköping at signs for IKEA and site. Turn right at traffic lights and camp sign and follow signs to site.
