Vakantiepark ’t Akkertien op de Voorst is located on the edge of Vollenhove (NW Overijssel) in the beautiful and water-rich nature reserve of Weerribben and Wieden, where you can enjoy fishing, cycling, walking and sailing. T op de Voorst has about 300 pitches (150 are for tourers) on large, flat grassy fields with shade at the rear from high bushes. In circular bays, the pitches are 100-150 sq.m. all with 10A electricity, water and drainage. The Campsite has a chalet park, modern fishermen's houses and a unique helicopter to spend the night in. There is also an indoor swimming pool for everyone to enjoy. Free WiFi is available on site.

The reception block and an area for drinks, music, and recreation activities are to the front of the site in the high season. A fascinating tractor museum displays several antique tractors. A small unfenced lake for fishing and boating is by the comfort pitches. A sandy play area is available for children.

Akkertien op de Voorst is on a former farm close to the Frisian lakes and the IJsselmeer. You could visit one of the bustling lakeside resorts, such as Lemmer. Cycling around the Vollenhove area will introduce one of the more open parts of the Netherlands and the famous polders – land the Dutch reclaimed from the sea. Other possibilities include a trip to Giethoorn, better known as Dutch Venice, where you can take boat trips through the smallest canals of the Netherlands.

Directions to Vakantiepark ’t Akkertien op de Voorst

On A6 in either direction, take exit for Urk/Nagele and continue to Nagele. From Nagele, continue on N352 road towards Vollenhove. At Vollenhove, take first exit on roundabout onto N331 road towards Zwolle. Take first exit at next roundabout and follow site signs.
