This is a modern, family run campsite hidden in a natural dip next to a working farm, but within a short walk of Pembridge. It has gravel roads, good site lighting, well spaced pitches and a drive-over motorhome service point. There is plenty of open space and a small fishing lake. There are 60 pitches in total, 29 with gravel hardstanding and all have access to 16A electricity, water and drainage. Reception is at the farm shop by the entrance, stocking a wide variety of fresh fruit, vegetables and eggs; a butchery section has farm produced meats. One jumbo sized and three standard pods available to rent. Special fishing breaks with tuition are available. A member of the Best of British group.

Pembridge, known as the jewel in the crown of the Black and White Village trails, holds its Farmers’ Market on the first Saturday of each month. Occupied since before the Magna Carta, every street contains medieval buildings which, in any other location, would be individual attractions in themselves. Ideal for eating out, shopping or just having a drink.

Facilities at Townsend Touring & Caravan Park

A modern building with blown air heating, accessed through a foyer with public telephone and tourist information. It is surrounded by wide decking with ramps giving easy access for wheelchairs to all facilities including the dishwashing area, laundry room and chemical disposal point. Inside are spacious controllable showers, some washbasins in cubicles, an accessuble bathroom suite , family bathroom and baby changing facilities.

Site is beside the A44, 7 miles west of Leominster. Site is just inside the 30 mph. speed limit on the eastern edge of Pembridge village.
