Sandringham Caravan and Motorhome Club site is in a delightfully secluded spot, within the grounds of the Royal Estate in Norfolk. Visitors will love the tranquillity offered by this woodland site where pitches are set in a clearing among trees. Away from the site, nature and RSPB reserves, as well as sandy beaches including Hunstanton and Brancaster will keep all family members entertained. Sandringham House is the most famous residence of the Royal Family, it is usually closed during the Queen's holiday (end of July and beginning of August), but during the remaining months between Easter and October, the House, Museum and grounds are fully open to visitors, as is the Country Park. Flower Show-June, Game & Country Fair-September, Christmas Craft Fair-November. Many woodland paths on the estate to explore. The site has 138 pitches all with electricity 16amp.

The town of King's Lynn is a mere 6 miles away and is an attractive and historic harbour town with a great food market on Tuesdays. Further local attractions include National Trust-Oxborough Hall. Holkham Hall. The traditional seaside resort of Hunstanton and the Thursford Collection.

Two toilet blocks have washbasins in cubicles and accessible sanitary facilities. Laundry. Information room. Late night arrivals area. Motorhome service point. Chemical toilet point. Children’s play area. Recycling facilities. Dog walk. Footpath into the estate. WiFi (charged). BBQs allowed gas, electric and charcoal. Gas sales. T.V. aerial booster system. Bus stop at the entrance. Supermarket 4 miles. Twin Axle caravans accepted. No arrivals before 12 noon.

Location

Turn right off the A149 (King's Lynn - Hunstanton) onto the B1439 (signposted West Newton). Site is on the left within 0.5 miles at rustic signposted SECC. Note: to avoid traffic congestion in the area of Sandringham Country Park do not turn off the A148 onto the B1440. You are requested not to approach the site through the village of West Newton.
