Slow the pace of life with a stay at Camping Étang de la Vallée, a nature-filled site on the banks of a Loiret lake in the Forest of Orléans.

With 122 large shaded pitches, all with electrical connections and views out over the water, this is a place where you and your family can relax, perhaps taking a walk in the woods or using your lakeside location for a bit of fishing, watersports or swimming from the lake beach (supervised in high season). If the lake wasn't enough, there are many activities for the children, including a playground, miniature golf course and games area with table tennis.

A café, food shop and bread delivery service are all on hand to provide you with local produce and barbecues are allowed. A local produce market is open once a week in July and August to give you a taste of the local area's best.

When you’re not spending your time chilling out on site, there’s plenty to keep you busy in the local area, including horse riding, bike rides and boat trips. Orléans is about 40 minutes’ drive away for an urban day out, or you could head down to the banks of the Loire in about 25 minutes for kayak outings or a visit to Château de Sully-sur-Loire.

Directions to Seasonova Camping Étang de la Vallée

From Orléans on the N60/E60. After 24 km turn left on the D10. In Vitry-aux-Loges, turn right until the lake and then left. The campsite is on the left.
