This is a beautiful rural site; as the name says, it is Camping in the Forrest. The location for those that love to return to nature could not be improved upon with forest walks and cycle tracks and a lake adjoining the site offering swimming and a selection of activities, including fishing and sailing, or you can sit in the bar/restaurant and enjoy your surroundings. Fresh locally baked bread and croissants can be ordered the evening before, and even a full continental breakfast can be ordered. The reception also stocks some basic provisions. 

Activities on-site include pétanque, badminton, volleyball, football, and table tennis. Check-in at reception was very efficient, and you will receive a warm welcome, although reception is closed between mid-day and 3.00 p.m. Of the 110 pitches, 70 are for touring units, all with electricity (10A) and with a good choice of sunny or shady pitches. There are 29 mobile homes, chalets and Romany-style caravans to rent. Pitches are generous and surrounded by hedging, and the site has a very open, spacious feel. The site has a very French feel, and the layout now provides fewer, larger pitches and a better ambience. 400m away is the lake with a lovely beach to relax on and swim from. During the high season, the team organises several activities for the entire family, both during the day and evening. 

A very pleasant site with plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling in the surrounding forest if you prefer to get away from the activities of Sillé-Plage.

The two sanitary blocks on the site are clean and modern and in keeping with the rural location they provide pushbutton showers and some washbasins in cubicles. Baby room and accessible facilities. Laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Motorhome services. Small shop sells bread, cold drinks ice cream. Play area. Entertainment, Mini farm, Table tennis, Multisport pitch, Football, Bicycle hire, Free WiFi in reception area. Pets allowed.

Directions to Seasonova Camping de la Forêt

Sillé-le-Guillaume is 35 km. northwest of Le Mans via the D304, and 40 km. east of Mayenne on the D35. Site is 3 km. north of town, following signs for Sillé-Plage or Plage. From west on D35 turn north to Sillé-Plage before reaching town. Site is on right.
